Introduced to the market in 2014, the BP380 CC is marketed as a budget-friendly .380 handgun for everyday concealed carry. The BP380 model is a .380 version of the more popular Bersa BP9 CC pistol chambered in 9mm. The BP380 CC and BP9 CC models have nearly identical dimensions, although the BP9CC pistol has a slightly shorter barrel.

Like the Bersa BP9CC models, the BP380 model is an entry-level, striker-fired pistol design that utilizes a single stack magazine. The single stack design offers a round capacity of 8 in the magazine plus 1 in the chamber. Like many gun manufacturers today, the BP380 and 9mm models use a polymer frame lower mated to a steel pistol upper.
Dimensionally, the BP380 CC is just over an inch wide, with a 3.3-inch barrel and an overall length of 6.1 inches. It weighs 21.5 ounces, meaning it isn’t the lightest .380 CCW handgun on the market.
I think Bersa got a little funky with the sight system on the BP models, as all feature a Sig Sauer-style front sight and a Glock-style U notch for the rear sight.
Since the BP380 CC is designed for concealed carry, the most popular gun holster styles are inside the waistband or IWB options.
However, this Bersa handgun is also small enough to comfortably hide in a small belt holster or OWB holster. Of the leather OWB holsters that we carry at Gunner’s Alley for the BP380CC, our best-selling models are the MTR Custom Pancake Slide and the MTR Custom Slimline Deluxe Pancake holster (both of those models are also listed above).
In my humble opinion, the BP380CC is a little on the big side to work in a pocket holster, but that also depends on the size and depth of the pocket. If you have pants with wide and deep pockets, then this .380 version of the BP handgun could work in a front pocket holster.

I spent nearly 10 years working in law enforcement full time, followed by another 5 years as a reserve officer. After my LEO career, I transitioned into corporate security, where I spent 7 years doing corporate investigations and executive protection at one of the largest computer manufacturers in the world. After that, I started a gun holster company called Gunner’s Alley. I’ve been involved in the gun holster industry since 2002, so I have over 20 years of experience with holsters.
