With the popularity of the P85 and P89, Ruger introduced the P90 handgun in 1990. Chambered for the .45 ACP, the P90 would carry a total of 6+1 rounds.
The P90 featured the same aluminum frame and steel parts found the P85 and P89. The P90 was designed to target the law enforcement community as well as self defense crowd. It is still in production at Ruger today.
